I just read a captivating new young adult WW II novel called The Enigma Game by Elizabeth Wein. This story is told from the perspective of three young people whose lives all become intertwined with the discovery of an enigma machine, dropped off to a military pub by a mysterious German soldier. As the war rages on, these young people must tactfully use this machine to solve a puzzle that could dramatically change the outcome of the war and save innocent lives. With a unique cast of characters and the fast-paced feel of a thriller, this novel will keep people of all ages glued until the last page! Kristina - Tsawwassen Library
