Just got home. It was a long day working jobs in Brandon and south of Brandon. Total success, with all our customers enjoying their restored, clear windows.

Wednesday was good, challenging, fun work with a successful finish in Virden. Thanks to Laurel Richter for the opportunity. First, Successful removal of the original failed, dual pane 5mm glass sealed unit. (Stay tuned to see what the future plans are for the beautifully painted glass) Second, rebuilding and insulating of the wooden sill. Lastly, the successful installation of the brand new 8' x 5' Mirro pane finish, with LowE & Argon gas, IGU into the, 4' off of the ground, window frame.

This is a bit delayed, but thought it was still worthy of a post. Big shout out to Virden Ford Sales Ltd. During the cold snap in February, an interior tempered pane of one of the main glass units in their front aluminum display glass curtain shattered under the variable temperatures. A couple of weeks ago we installed the new replacement piece. Thank you for the business! Darin and Noreen you were absolutely fantastic to work with.

Sometimes you just need to pause and enjoy the moment. Some call this a " satisfying video". Happy to provide our friends at Sioux Valley education with a glass related solution for their school. Bonus: whole wrap came off in one piece.

The G.E.T Glass crew arrived home from our whirlwind tour, late last evening. Hartney, Boissevain, Killarney and the 49th Parrallel. Measured up a grand total of 43 windows, for glass replacement. Plus, we even got some new glass installed. You communities are all great!! Thank you for the shout outs and support! Thank you, Boundary Co-op late evening staff for setting us up with the fuel and candy treats we needed to keep us going.

Failed Seal. What does it look like when your window has "lost the seal"? Seals can get stressed and fail/break etc and allow air & moisture to collect inbetween the glass. This results is increased cloudy, streaked, foggy glass. At first it may just seem like " I can't get this window clean" and it gets steadily worse. ... The window has reduced efficiency as well as your view. Swipe for some photos. Solution: replace the glass "IGU". Insulated Glass Unit ~ 2 or more panes of glass separated by a spacer material and sealed together at the edge. IGU's fit inside your existing window frame. Give Gregg or Ernie a call/text. We just logged an excellent last couple of days of helping 'clarify' people's vision during this wintery time of year We enjoyed the hospitality of folks while we did their glass installs, along with meeting new future clients, in the communities of Virden, Reston, Hartney, Deloraine and surrounding areas. Because we are loving this weather so much we are going to slip into Virden and install one more triple pane glass unit this Friday evening, just to celebrate!

Yesterday was shipment day. Tomorrow is a trip up to Shoal Lake/Hamiota for more installs!

Another shipment of glass. Hopefully this weather keeps holding out, preferably until April :D Also, a fun little sideline project for the local daycare! The kidlets will be getting grounded with nature!
