Wow guys! What a great "second first week" we had. We sure felt the love and excitement from all you beautiful people I'm not sure who was more excited to see us back, us or you! Wednesday we had aimed to close at 2 but you kept us going with a constant line from 1:15-3:10. The rest of the week was just as rockin, and we loved seeing all of you and making you that cup of happiness we all need right now. Thank you thank you . Tomorrow we have scones, cinnamon buns, frui...t twists, spinach bistros, and ham and cheese croissants ready to go in the bakery case, and quiche, Classics, Siennas, Gladiators, and Jupiters ready for the grill. Hounddog bars and cookies are available as well . More exciting news; our walkup window is installed in our front door and ready to take your orders! Even more exciting, we now have hot matcha and red espresso at G2 for your non-espresso needs . Remember you can always pre order by texting 250 949-9999 and we'll reply with a confirmation and timeline of when it will be ready for pickup (usually 10 minutes, a bit longer for larger orders) . Hi friends! The team and I are SO excited to be back behind the bar and slinging espresso, and to see all your happy faces. As in our owner’s last message to you, there will be some changes to what you are used to seeing from us. On Wednesday April 1st, we are opening from 10-2 and offering hot and cold beverages only - no food. We need a bit of time to work through what our new transacting procedures will be and to prepare our space to give you those Gladiators, wraps, and ...scones you have been missing. We spent 6 hours in our spaces today cleaning, sanitizing, and reorganizing so we will be prepared to offer you our new modified menu on Thursday. Another one of those changes will be *how* you can order at G2. At this time we are offering service through our drive-up window only, and we encourage you to walk up to that window if you are on foot, but please remember to keep your distancing in line with the provincial recommendations. We are working on building a service window for our door that should be in place for opening next week, as we are keeping inside access to our staff only at this time. We strongly encourage you to order ahead so we can keep the flow moving smoothly, and we are exploring an online ordering system. Stay tuned for a post detailing how to order ahead. Please consider using non-cash methods of payment as much as possible, and yes we are still accepting your gift cards and punch cards. We are also building towards posting our baking menu the afternoon before so you can place your order for the next day by texting our shop phone. More details on that and the online ordering to come as they develop.
