Happy Sunday everyone Grown with Love, treasures from the Garden, perhaps one of the last bouquets, but it can be eternalized in a painting The othe two are gifts from friends and a Farmers Market surprise.

Headed to the ocean for some cloud shots for future paintings. Was not disappointed.

Always nice to end up in the paper. I truly love ‘my’ river. The paper was a bit wet when I got it, you can see it online also, plus 3 additional images.

I love the character of houses and their history, the lives they provided space and shelter for their inhabitant’s stories. Some deeply move me, like the Mc Iver house in the Glen Valley, or the Saturna Island Lighthouse building. They have a soul, that whispers....

Ever so often this little water color travel kit comes in handy. It is over 20 years old at least. My view this morning with artistic licence. Campbell River in the distance. Mixed media, some pen, some acrylic and watercolor. I enjoyed exploring in somewhat new territory, now I’m off to see the lighthouse again and some petroglyphs.

Mc Iver homestead #4. This one was a commission for the great granddaughter of the man who built it, Murdoch Mc Iver. I had the immense pleasure meeting this lady and learning the whole history of her ancestry. I am still so immensely drawn to this place and intrigued by its story.
