Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to remind all fellow office workers of the importance of office ergonomics. What is office ergonomics? ... Office ergonomics is the science of designing the workstation to fit within the capabilities and limitations of the worker. Poor ergonomics has been proven to increase the risk of chronic injury or the development of repetitive strain injuries (RSIs). Injuries such as carpal tunnel, chronic back, neck or wrist pain, and tension headaches are the leading cause of job-related disability. As someone who stares at a computer screen the majority of my day, these tips are incredibly helpful and really do make a difference! Microsoft is currently experiencing an outage with several services on the Office 365 platform. The issue was discovered at approximately 4pm and a fix is currently underway. There is no known ETA at this time but users are encouraged not to disconnect from any active sessions to preserve their session. We expect the issue to be resolves this evening.

Modern computers that are equipped with an SSD (solid state drive) do not require defragmentation. In fact Years ago this was a standard procedure with older Hard Drives. Snacks, coffee, sticky fingers are often our closest companions while were typing away at our computers. They are often what fuels the ideas and thoughts that we type. But if you dont stop to examine your keyboard every once in a while, you might miss the fact that it has become covered with crumbs, grease and a coating of dust. And thats not all: a recent study shows that some sample keyboards had more bacteria and filth than a toilet seat! So, how do we effectively clea...n our keyboards? A few simple steps! 1. Remove loose debris by shutting down your computer, tilt the keyboard upside down and shake it. A compressed air can also works well to spray between the keys. 2. Clean the keys. Cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol works well. With such periodic cleaning, your keyboard will stay relatively germ-free and appear brand new!

Ive spent the last 5 years working for Chinooks Edge School Division as a Technology Educational Assistant. I have experience working both in retail and tech support with people of all ages.
