I think I can speak for most of us when I say we're super excited about the Gathering this Sunday! The weather looks great and other than a few last minute twea...ks, we have most of our ducks (and squirrels) lined up. We want to reassure everyone in advance that we have measures in place to keep our customers and vendors safe, while still having fun. To accomodate our extra vendors, Front street will be closed to through traffic between Mill road and Hector road. There will be staffed gates at each closure, with clearly marked entrance and exit lanes at both ends. Visitors will be required to sign in by filling out ballots for door prizes. Our staff will be counting customers in and out on both ends of Front St, and will endeavour to keep the number of people on the grounds at 50 at any given time. Possession of a mask is encouraged, in the event that physical distancing isn't possible, and we will have some for sale at the gates in case you forget yours:) Also, handicapped parking will be available within the blocked off area, next to the market grounds, just notify staff when you arrive. So... Please bring your patience and sense of humour, maybe your knitting and lawn chair in case there's a wait to get in? We would love to see a knitters/spinners circle form!
