Happy Wednesday We received a beautiful surprise today from a good friend of ours. We received 3 beautiful ostrich eggs and boy are they massive. This is going to be a fun challenge for all of us

I would like to welcome jazzman to our feathered family. He was given to us by a beautiful kind hearted girl named Dawn. Not only did she give up who she loved dearly, she also donated to our rescue. A big thank you to Dawn and her loving family.

Our beautiful new coop Made out of repurposed, recycled and donated materials. Foundation is made out of old worn tires. Floor structure and wall structure made from pallets. Insulation was donated from a old project. Vapour barrier found in a dumpster. All plywood collected from dumpsters at construction sites with permission. Tin roof was donated from a wonderful man in almonte. Side wood being used as siding donated by a lovely lady and her family in almonte. Nails and scr...ews were donated by a wonderful lady as well. The roof beams were donated by a amazing man in almonte Without your donations to help build these projects, coops for rescued, donated and given animals would not happen Thank you so much to everyone for your donations and help.
