| NO-FILTER | IG sabbatical and reset as the world is eager to move forward and perhaps find ways to see normal again ... it’s a time where perhaps I can only hope humans regardless of where they live, how they live and who they live with can just look outside and see it’s not going to be as easy to ignore the things that really matter. Clean air and a breath of fresh air - what seems so normal and for us Canadians something we can feel fortunate for is at a loss today. To b...reath in fresh air Today marks in history what happens often on repeat yet this platform is filled with many filters. First health, education, human rights, but somehow the environment still yet to be appreciated as it should. Too eager are we all to move forward yet today the air we breath is compromised. That final breath you take in this life can either be one you want to remember or one that is often forgotten. Yet it’s what all humans need is air to breath in a lifetime. We can look back on today as being in passing or perhaps the one reason we need change. Nothing really matters if we can’t even breath - wishing those whose health is compromised safe refuge and all those who need a human next to them, I wish you respite with someone helping care for you. And to those who look forward to that one day out in nature but simply risk everything by going outside, I hope this moment passes but is remembered for what it really can mean to all of us #climatechange isn’t really something we can ignore like we wish we could See more

Finding the perfect balance of catching this light at all times of day is serendipitous. We choose the material palette not focused on aesthetics or a colour scheme. The layers of a material story that reflects the time and place of an interior in is in response to the meeting of landscape and architecture. The direction of aesthetics is not drive...n by our own rather is a result of curation of how our clients desire to live. Ideally our work as a studio with those we care for ultimately has better results when we can find a balance of creating value in what we touch and feel. | CUSTOM | some solutions require a collaborative effort to customize ways of making living in the digital era effortless. Prior to renovating we asked the clients to rotate the bed 90 degrees towards the view and to experience having the bed as an island in the bedroom where circulation is adjusted. Instead of walking into the master suite to have the bed exposed we repositioned the experience towards the best way of waking up. Complexity of ambitious programming such as ha...ving multiple devices from Apple to Android, humans live with an average 5-6 devices from laptops, iPads, iPhones, digital watches to fit bracelets to rings and the added importance of sleep. The custom console was designed to conceal pipes to hydro powered thermal pad and control unites by @chilisleep. A custom solution to provide access to sleep monitoring systems and a way to hide temperature control thermal units that allows custom dual temperature control. Combined with ease of accessibility to charging devices. We’re so grateful to the team at @lockandmortice and @durante_furniture for collaborating with us on a customized solution. We are so fortunate to work with amazing Canadians that help us on ambitious projects both inside our own city and no matter how far and remote.
