The Public Policy to facilitate the immigration of certain sponsored foreign nationals excluded under paragraph 117(9)(d) or 125(1)(d) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations which took effect on September 9, 2019, will end this September 9, 2021. https://www.canada.ca//policies-operational-/excluded.html In some cases, sponsors and applicants have been defrauded by scrupulous consultants and lawyers that they were qualified to apply or that the Sponsor is eli...gible. Sponsors and applicants paid professional fees but the applications were subsequently refused by the visa office because the Sponsor is not eligible under this Public Policy. To be eligible under this Public Policy, the Sponsor must have been any of the following; a) The Sponsor applied for, and was granted permanent residence status as a Convention refugee or a person in similar circumstances; OR, b) The Sponsor was granted permanent residence after having been determined to be a protected person; OR, c) The Sponsor was determined to be a member of the Family Class, and was granted permanent residence as a sponsored spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, or dependent child; OR, d) The Sponsor was determined to be a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class and was granted permanent residence as a sponsored spouse or common-law partner. At most, the Sponsor may have admitted Misrepresentation (committed in the Sponsor’s previous application for Canada visa) as it may be considered a criminal fraud if you lie on an application or in an interview with an IRCC officer. If you do not have a legal status in Canada, Dr. Paul Caulford, a veteran family doctor in Scarborough, is operating a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic for undocumented workers at the Canadian Centre for Refugee and Immigrant Health Care, which he co-founded more than 20 years ago to provide free health care and dental services to uninsured immigrants, including those who are undocumented.
You can be given refugee protection in Canada if you meet the definition of; 1) A Convention refugee, OR if you are 2) A person in need of protection (PIP).... You can be given refugee protection in Canada if you meet the United Nations (UN) definition of a Convention refugee, or if you are a person in need of protection. The UN defines Convention refugees as people who have a well-founded fear of persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group. Membership in a particular social group can include, but is not limited to, sexual orientation, gender identity, women who fear domestic violence and HIV status. Persons in need of protection (PIP) must show that if they return to their home country, they will face a danger of torture, a risk to their life or a risk of cruel and unusual treatment or punishment. https://irb.gc.ca/en/refugee-claims/Pages/ClaDemGuide.aspx

Happy #Thanksgiving #Canada Thanksgiving, which is celebrated throughout North America, is rooted in the European agricultural tradition. However, even before settlers arrived in the promised land, once a year First Nations members also celebrated the fertility of their lands, the abundance of the harvests and the fruits of their labours. - David Johnston, October 13, 2013 As we celebrate thanksgiving, its important that as Canadians we learn more about Canada’s three disti...nct groups of Indigenous peoples and their unique histories, languages, cultural practices, and spiritual beliefs that are woven into the fabric of our country: The Canadian Constitution recognizes three groups of Aboriginal peoples: #FirstNations, #Inuit and #Métis: https://www.rcaanc-cirnac.gc.ca/.../1100100.../1529102490303 #Indigenous history in Canada: https://www.aadnc-aandc.gc.ca/.../110010001.../1100100013779 Thanksgiving History: https://www.plimoth.org/.../thanksgi.../thanksgiving-history A memo to Canada: #Indigenouspeople are not your incompetent children: https://spon.ca/a-memo-to-canada-indigenous.../2018/01/07/ Photo credit: https://www.facebook.com/GCIndigenous
