I love the movie "Good Will Hunting". As I was watching this movie again, I had this thought of how we could think of this movie as an astrology story.....! I mean omg this is a classic! So let's say Will Hunting represents Uranus in our story. Here we have a story of a man-boy that starts out in our minds as a kind of an unlived creative potential, at least in the first part of the movie. A real genius(Uranus)! We first learn of Will's genius when he comes out of the closet ...with a solution to Prof. Lambeau's impossible equation on the hallway chalkboard. Inspiring! So let's say Prof. Lambeau represents the work of Saturn. Will(Uranus) is recognized by Prof.(Saturn) for his genius creative gift and wants to make use of it in the world(Saturn). Part of this, is also the Prof. vouching for Will, opting to help to rehabilitate Will and steer him to use his potential in the most responsible of ways, at least by measurement of the Prof's vastly greater experience(Saturn). After a bit of drama, the Prof. enlists Dr. Mcguire(also a Saturn figure) to help him with Will's rehabilitation and this really does become the best part of the story, but............for the sake of keeping this relatively brief, and also recognizing that I am sure my narrative is not doing any justice to the beauty and depth of this movie - here is my point: Each of us has unbounded creative potential as represented by the planet Uranus in our natal charts and to unlock this potential we need to work through what our natal Saturn placement represents. The creative potential is actually the easiest part of this whole equation, while the work of Saturn will take awareness, time and discipline if we are to achieve any creative worldly success. In summary, viewing our natal charts in this light can give us new pathways in realizing our individual and collective creative potential. Thanks for listening....Galen See more

Saturn: My conditioning. The black hole I want everyone else to feed but yet I won't provide the same to myself. The problem is I am the only one that can feed it and Saturn ensures that this is the case. When the Mother's care(Saturn in Cancer) was not available to me, I learn to seek out the care and belonging from those around me. Insecurity plagues me as I convince others to feed the black hole. The black hole is my conditioning that taught me that my emotional and securi...ty needs didn't matter. I was unwanted. Experience that long enough and the trauma stores itself in the body. Then you stop recognizing your own emotions because they cease to communicate with you. You feel empty and your relationships are empty. And so the work that only I can do for myself begins. Grieve the past and release the trauma and emotions. Learn to recognize emotions. Feel them in my body. Learn to communicate how I feel without apology. Construct a new life that allows and honours emotions in myself and others. Love and accept myself including all my flaws. Its a big job but it is rewarding so far. So maybe Saturn represents the greatest the gift I can give myself, seeing as I cant change how my enviroment was when I was young. Thanks for your support! Galen See more
