Hi! We’re getting some new followers and thought we should put some faces to the name! My name is Cassie and if you’re chatting to us through social media it’s usually me you’re talking to (a dead giveaway is the overuse of exclamation marks). Travis, my boyfriend of 8 years (and counting!) does all the woodworking and is a guru when it comes to technical questions about types of woods or stains, and making functional design suggestions. GCW is something both of us do on top our day jobs but also something that we’re both incredibly passionate about. Travis is a carpenter by trade and I’m an accountant who loves interior design, so Galway Custom Woodworking is truly the perfect product of both of our passions and talents. Thanks for stopping by!

Shades of grey These are a couple of our custom mixed stains. We use @minwaxusa which has a great variety of colours, but when you mix and match the options are endless!

We love this x-base dining table! It’s a bit of a modern spin on the classic farmhouse trestle table and we can’t get enough!

One of our main projects this year is a personal one. We purchased a fixer upper in late 2018 and have been renovating it slowly and steadily every since.
