Fishing Mini-game fun facts: The first game ever to feature a fishing mini-game was 'Sea Route to India' (Commodore 64, 1984) - however, the first game to feature a fully-detailed fishing mini-game was Breath of Fire (SNES, 1993).... Did you know Link's Awakening (Gameboy, 1993) was the first Zelda to feature the now-iconic fishing mini game? Did you know the fishing game in Final Fantasy XV was so well received that Square Enix developed an expanded stand-alone version of the mini-game for PS VR? This week marks the 20th anniversary of the Playstation 2 system. North America finally got our hands on the system on October 26, 2000, with Japan getting the system a whole seven months earlier!
