Out with the old, in with the new! We've added more rental games to keep you busy at home this fall! The newest additions include Call to Adventure, My first Castle Panic, and from LEDER Games we have both Fort and Vast; The Crystal Cavern (not pictured). Calico is brand new, releasing today, and we've got a rental copy here for those eager to try it! Lastly, from game designer Elizabeth Hargrave, her first big hit, Wingspan, and her newest game Mariposa!... We're adding more rental games all the time, so be sure the check back again soon!

The email we got from Duncan praises many beholders before settling on # 27 as Duncan's Choice! "I've taken a look and there are loads of great ones, I really like the narrative that has been put into them (especially number 20, please give a high-five to whoever painted that one because the poor hero hit with a Disintegrate spell there is awesome). Top picks for me are number 15 which has fantastic object source lighting from the lightning, and number 25 which has wonderful ...reflections of light in the eyes, a small detail that does a huge amount for the feel of the model. My favourite, and pick for 'Duncan's Choice' however is number 27, as I love the overall composition of colour, that the small eyes have been painted to match the big eye, and how absolutely gross the mouth is with it's yellowed teeth and drool!" What a lovely message! What are some of your favourite science fiction or fantasy novels or novel series? What do you consider to be a quintessential piece of literature in these genres? I'm a huge fan of the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson, and there's always a soft spot in my heart for Dragonlance, one of my first fantasy settings after The Hobbit. What books do YOU think should be on everyone's shelf?
