Hi everyone! I am sharing this again, we now have over 3000 signatures! We received word that this issue was supposed to be resolved in the cabinet meeting yesterday, but then nothing was shared in the announcements yesterday. We, along with Manual Osteopaths, are very frustrated. As Healthcare Practitioners we have a duty of care to our patients and we are not allowed to help them at the moment. Let Certified Athletic Therapists get back to helping people with injuries and pain!

I have been working in the hospital for a month now as a Safety Ambassador, and while I am excited to get back to my regular athletic therapy role I am glad I have been able to help during this time. As Health Care Practitioners, Athletic Therapists across Canada and the USA have been reaching out and looking for ways we can assist with this pandemic. This has been such a memorable experience, with both ups and downs. The hardest part has not only been telling visitors they... are not allowed in, but knowing that for the visitors that are allowed in it is not a good situation. I hope as a Safety Ambassador I have been able to make this time and process a bit easier for them.
