Hey everyone! I know not all of you know the different services I offer. Here's the list: - Arcade machine repair (monitor, main board, power supply, controls, etc). I can repair/diagnose most boards up to the early 2000s.... - Pinball machine repair (boards, displays, playfield parts, etc). I can also repair Electromechanical pinball machines and bingo machines, but these take longer since all the switches need cleaning for proper operation. - Pinball machine cleaning/shopping (new rubbers, lamps, clean, wax, etc) - CRT monitor repairs (rejuvenation, cap kits, etc) - Arcade monitor LCD conversion - General console repairs (cleaning, connector pin replacement) - Video game cartridge battery replacement for game saves - Arcade, pinball machines, and video game sales (complete games and parts) - Arcade/pinball machine restoration. I can restore games from top to bottom, but this is a time consuming and expensive service. I am also always interested in what you have to sell and trade! It's been awhile, but things have been busy! Just finished repairing a Battlezone arcade machine. It was made by Atari in 1980 and used a monochrome vector monitor as the display. Here's more info on vector monitors. Vector monitors, also called XY monitors, are different than regular raster monitors (old computer monitor or TV). To create the picture, they draw straight lines (vectors), while raster monitors scan and energize every single pixel.... Monochrome vector monitors only draw white vectors. To get different colors, Atari used colored transparent overlays on different section on the screen. For Battlezone, the top quarter is red, and the rest is green. #arcaderepair #arcademachine #battlezone #atari
