The Covid numbers locally seem to be slowly improving, so we are reopening for browsing in a limited capacity. Thunder Bay District is still in "Grey", and our own level is 2 (shown below). We will be restricting the number of people allowed between both stores at any one time to ten, we'll be asking screening questions, taking temperatures, and asking customers to sign our contact register. But you can stop in and get your geek on!

Hey everyone. Please be advised that, for the rest of this week, we're revising our opening hours slightly. Effective tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14, through Friday, April 16, we're open from NOON until 6 p.m. We'll resume our regular COVID-reduced hours on Saturday, April 17, and Sunday, April 18, when we'll be open from NOON to 5 p.m. And, starting next Monday, April 19, we'll be back being open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.... You may have seen that Thunder Bay District is moving to "yellow" as far as COVID health classifications are concerned. Since we are already being a little more restrictive than the "yellow" classification allows, nothing will change for us for the time being--coming to the store after today will be no different than coming to the store today. So, we can have up to ten people in each of our stores at one time. We are asking that only groups of people who are already "bubbles..." (e.g. families, room-mates, that sort of thing) come here in groups, however. And everyone who enters the store must wear a mask, maintain social distancing of at least 2 metres, and disinfect their hands on entry (we have disinfectant available). If, for some reason, you are NOT able to do these things, please contact us at 807-768-8748 and we can arrange curbside pick-up or home delivery for you. That means we are limiting our space to household groups only, by prior arrangement. Masks are mandatory (and non-negotiable) for the duration of your visit. We just got in a HUGE collection of used role playing game books (feel free to come and check it out!) In the meantime, though we've got a number of Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition books, including the three core books--Players Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual. The latter two have seen a lot of use, and show it on the corners, etc. The Player's Handbook is in better shape, and is also signed by Gary Gygax, apparently at GenCon 2000! We're offering them at $30 for the Player's Handbook, and $25 for each of the other two, or the set of all three for $70!
