Thanks to all of you for sharing my job posting! I had over 60 applicants! It’s been a busy couple weeks but I’m happy to announce we hired Deana Stagg for Pam’s replacement. She’s been busy getting her feet wet at the clinic this week and I know she will be a wonderful asset to our clinic. Looking forward to all of you meeting her and giving her a warm welcome.

Anyone who has been to my clinic knows how integral Pam is to my practice. She has been with me for 16 wonderful years and has helped me build my practice to where it is today. Well the time has come that Pam is moving on to another chapter in her life and is moving out of gander. Therefore, I’m looking for a replacement for her. If you know of anyone who you think would be qualified and a good fit to work at our clinic could you please ask them to forward their resume to [email protected]. Well today went reasonably well for first day opening. I’d just like to remind patients to come on in the clinic your appointment time. DO NOT WAIT IN THE CAR FOR A PHONE CALL! Our front staff are busy answering the phones, may be on another call or busy processing another patient. To keep the flow going we appreciate you come on in when it’s your turn. Thank you!

It’s been a very busy couple weeks getting everything ready to reopen hopefully on Monday June. 8th. All of my tables have been reupholstered and the entire clinic has been sanitized. I also want to ensure all my patients that my clinic has a very stringent cleaning protocols and clinic procedures in place to make it a safe environment for you to visit. Our clinic is taking the following precautions for COVID-19: 1) All patients shall wait in their cars for their appointm...ent time and no one but the person with the appointment will be allowed to enter. 2) All patients are required to wear a clean, unused mask. If you do not have one or forget it, you can purchase one for $2. This is your part on protecting my staff. 3) If a patient enters with gloves on, please remove them immediately upon entering the waiting room and discharge them in the garbage. Hand sanitizer will be provided in the waiting room and all treatment rooms. 4) All patients must sanitize their hands upon arriving and exiting the clinic. 5) You will be required to complete a COVID-19 screening prior to all of your appointments. 6) We will only be accepting debit/credit payments. 7) Receipts will be emailed. 8)No gowns will be provided, so dress accordingly for your treatments. Ie. wear a tank top 9) Pubic washroom facilites will be closed, so plan accordingly. 10) To ensure a smooth patient flow through our clinic, enter the clinic using the front door and we will exit using the side door. 11) We have allocated more time per treatment to allow for pre-screening and cleaning protocols in between patients. 12) No food or drink permitted in the clinic or treatment rooms. Pam and I will be at the clinic on Thursday, June. 4th to start to rebook the patients that were cancelled in March. If you would like an appointment please call 651-4730 so we can get your name down for rebooking. I will open online booking on Friday June.5. I look forward to seeing you all at your next appointment!

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Since a lot of people are working from home I’d thought I’d share this free app that the Canadian Chiropractic Association has created. It’s a FREE app called Straighten Up Canada and has a lot of stretches and exercises for adults and youths. You can even track your adherence for accountability! These things are great tools as a mental reminder to get up and move, especially as you work from home when your work station isn’t as ergonomic. Check it out!

Today being Professional Administrative Day I can not let this day pass without recognizing the two ladies that makes my day run smoothly. Anyone who has come to my clinic know how great these two ladies are. Each and every day they go above and beyond their jobs to help me and all of our patients. Pam and I have worked together for the last 16 years. I always make a joke and say I’ve been married longer to Pam than my husband lol. She reads my mind before I even say anything... and has it done for me before I ask. Without her my practice would not have grown as big as it is today. Wanda may not have been with us as long but with her experience she brought to the clinic, she just slid right in and was the perfect fit. These ladies work together like a well oiled machine! Pam and Wanda even though we aren’t opened and we can’t go out for a nice meal I hope you know how much you are appreciated for all the hard work you do to allow my business to open daily and grow yearly.
