Have you been watching and listening to the birds around you and wondered what species they are? There's an amazing diversity of birds that come through Southwe...stern Ontario to breed or continue on their migration to northern climates. This webinar is a beginners guide to the birds in the Southwestern area and how to identify them. There will be opportunities for questions and comments. This is our first event in the Passport to Nature event series for 2021. The Passport to Nature program is a series of free events intended to engage our community in outdoor activities. Monday, May 3rd at 7pm. Spots are limited, RSVP here: https://www.thamestalbotlandtrust.ca/birding_for_beginners_

Welcome to our Virtual Show! Here is a beautiful selection of trees from the members of this group! The show is open until November 30, 2020. During this period..., you can vote for your favorite trees. The thirteen trees with the highest votes will be featured in our calendar and will be available to all members as a PDF. You may vote for as many trees as you wish, but it is encouraged you vote for the ones you would like to see in the calendar (i.e. the top thirteen). Also, in the interest of fairness, you may wish to review all images first before you cast your votes. The votes will be tallied as follows: Each 'like' is worth 1 vote Each 'love' is worth 2 votes Each 'wow' is worth 2 votes No other reaction will be counted. The Ontario Bonsai Community wishes to thank all those who submitted photographs, and sponsor prizes for the virtual show. We are very grateful for your participation in helping to make the show interesting and a success! Sponsored by: Canadabonsai.com ACBonsai.com Artisanworks.ca Kimsnature.ca SheridanNurseries.com
