HAPPY HOLLIDAYS December is a very special and magical month. From the glittering lights to picking the perfect Christmas tree to taking that 1st picture with the famous Mr Claus. We can’t help but to feel joy happiness and feel the love everywhere. We look at the year we leave behind and look forward to the New one with positiveness and appreciate every moment as the year ends. Family gatherings traditions in every home is unique and special. But no matter where we come...s from or how different our traditions are we all share the same wishes for our loved one happiness health and love. We share and cherish every moment with them. Sharing ,sharing is part of many gestures we all can do during the holidays. Not everyone is blessed to gather around a huge Christmas feast and be surrounded by family. Some of us are not as fortunate. For some people the holidays are a sad time there are alone and have nothing to look forward too. Back in the day in old tradition we were more open minded and invited those unfortunate. Now a days we are not so opening letting someone in so easily but it would be nice to maybe perhaps start that tradition again ,give in return and some small way to those who are alone to those who don’t have much. Therefore Rene Claude and I want to share and give some magic to the kids from DPJ (Direction de la protection de la jeunesse). These children spend the holidays alone they have been abandon of have been taken away from their parents care. There is no doubt that these children would appreciate a small little present on Christmas day like every child deserve on that magical morning .Therefore if you have been given any toys that your child has a double or toys that were never opened and have no use for anymore or simply if you would like to give a toy small token to a child of the 3000 that are at the DPJ, please come at the daycare drop them in the box . We will be Santa’s helper and bring the toys in time for that special Christmas morning . You will have made a child feel very special and not forgotten by Santa . JOYEUSES FETES DE FIN D’ANNÉE Du mois de Décembre se dégage un air de fête, de joie, de paix et d’amour. On fait le bilan de l’année écoulée, et nous fondons plein d’espoir sur l’année à venir. C’est pour moi le mois des enfants, où ils attendent avec impatience les cadeaux, ils admirent les belles lumières, ils sentent que c’est un moment magique et unique. Les familles se retrouvent, fêtent ensemble, partagentC’est une période où on a également tous une pensée pour les fam...illes défavorisées. On veut donner, partager Ce que le dîner du réveillon a d’unique pour moi, c’est cette tradition ancestrale de garder un couvert pour le pauvre et nécessiteux sans famille qui viendrait frapper à notre porte. De nos jours on ne laisserait personne rentrer chez nous, mais il me semble important de redonner vie à cette tradition et de donner un peu de son temps, un peu de soi à ceux qui sont seuls. C’est dans cette optique que Renée-Claude et moi-même avons voulu partager avec les enfants de la DPJ (Direction de la protection de la Jeunesse ) ce moment magique. Ces enfants passent les fêtes seuls, ont été abandonnés ou retirés de la garde de leurs parents. Nous sommes certaines qu’un petit cadeau leur ferait un plaisir inoui. Alors si on vous a offert des jouets dont vous ne vous vous êtes jamais servis, si vous avez des jouets neufs dont votre enfant n’en a jamais fait usage, ou si tout simplement vous désirez offrir un cadeau à un des 3000 enfants de la DPJ, venez les déposerdans la boite prévue à cet effet. Nous irons la porter à la DPJ avant l’arrivée du Père Noel. PS : La DPJ n'accepte que les jouets neufs, et ceux-ci seront portés le 20 Décembre. Merci à tous, et Joyeuses Fêtes Mai et Renée-Claude
