It was a perfect day to get a good portion of garlic planted yesterday! Seven different varieties and over 400 seeds are tucked in to take root before the deep cold of winter.

It’s a seed cracking day and we’ve taken a quick snap of our new ‘French Red’ variety (a type of Rocambole). Known for its beautiful bulb wrappers and flavour. These cloves will be planted within the next week or so, along with five other flavourful varieties.

To the kind and honest people who have purchased our garlic over the past number of weeks, we send a huge thanks!!! Unfortunately, some ill-hearted thief STOLE 20 heads of our garlic today! This puts an end to our old-fashioned, self-serve cart. It really makes you lose faith in humanity when someone spoils it for everyone else. ... May karma serve you well.
