* Long Post Warning, Please Read the Whole Post* We are Open and will continue to be open during the Stay at home order. However, we will be operating by APPOINTMENTS ONLY as we are unable to accept walk ins due to the new restrictions. ... We ask that you adhere to the social distancing protocols that have been set in place by the government and public health. We will continue to sanitze all vehicles coming in and leaving the shop. We will also be sanitizing all key's. We will continue to wear face coverings, we do ask that you wear a mask as soon as you exit your car when dropping it off for service. We will be providing Key drop off envelopes where you can write your name, number and place your key inside. We are still unable to offer our shuttle service due to the social distancing guide lines. The debit machine is set up at our front door, this way you do not have to enter the building to pay. We can process credit card payments for you over the phone and we do accept EFT payment as well if you do not feel comforable giving us your credit card information over the phone. The health of our staff and customers is our top priority during these crazy and difficult times. If anyone has lost a set of keys over the weekend, a set has been found in our parking lot. Simple call and describe the keys to one of our employees to verify they are yours.

With the recent severity of the Covid outbreak, Garms’ Auto Service has been taking every measure possible to keep our employees safe while still trying to fill the necessity of service. We appreciate that not everyone is able to stay home during these times, from medical professionals, law enforcement, delivery drivers of products to stores and homes, the need for people to get out for necessities. That is why we are doing everything possible to be here for those who are... here for us all. We will be open for as long as needed to assist those that need it and request that all non-essential services please wait until after this outbreak. We are servicing vehicles from OPP to the vehicles of those who have to get to these jobs. For the safety of our employees and their families we ask that everyone please do as follows: As of Monday, March 23 all vehicles needing repair be dropped off with keys in the drop box and appointments booked via phone. Vehicles to be picked up after repairs are complete will be arranged with the customer. All quotes will be returned by phone and we ask that all payments be made by credit card over the phone to limit person to person interactions along with transfer of virus within the building. Anyone who has travelled out of the country in the last 3 weeks or less please refrain from bringing your vehicle in until after any quarantine. Safety is priority and all vehicles will be wiped down before any repairs are performed. Thank you for your cooperation, please stay indoors as much as possible and hold your loved ones tight. We pray for solution and end to this virus so we can all be back to regular service soon!

Anyone recognize this guy on the scooter? Stuffed clothes in his bag so guessing he was up to something prior. Checked doors and went behind the shop, grabbed a trailer rim and tire and tried to roll it down Yonge St. but the tire rolled back into our lot. Stay vigilant friends, these guys are everywhere!

At this time Garms Auto Service really needs the publics assistance! Last night around 9 we had someone steal the end of a drive of a boat in our parking lot. They damaged our van at the same time getting the part off, so there will be a Mercruiser end off a drive with blue paint on it. Should anyone see or hear please call the OPP ASAP Edit: looking for an early 2000s Toyota Matrix with the passenger side licence plate light out - car was too far for plate number

Does anyone happen to recognize this gentleman? He walked away with approx. $400 in tools that our technician would like back. Police will be notified, but a name sure would be nice. Please be vigilant, this was at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday May 18th. Thank you.

For those that wonder how we knew what the colour of the truck in the video from Sunday was, well, in the complete darkness, they show black and white, but with any light they have a perfect colour picture. So as our culprit drove away past the front of the shop, he had enough light that those cameras can still have colour picture, even at night. So impressed with these 2 systems, home and shop! Eyes are always watching... luckily nothing was taken, even though its only the scrap tires, but we do know who it is. Lets hope this person does not return, but a lesson that thieves are still out there. Brazen enough to look straight into the camera, and looks like they have been here before. Ready for final sanding, prime and then paint, then clean the other office walls and more painting!
