Meet Xena, an Edmonton local who is currently walking across Canada to raise awareness for Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women #MMIW. She began her journey on February 24, 2021 in Victoria, British Columbia and is hoping to be in St. John’s, Newfoundland by the end of the year. She is raising money through her Go Fund Me page with a goal of $8,000. 50% of the money raised is going towards Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) and the other half is to help pay for acc...ommodations, food and shoes for her walk. Friendly reminder to stretch out your muscles today, your future self will thank you. This commercial left it out but for those who are like me... I stretch because Dr. Deltombe tells me to! It does amaze me though how much better I feel when I take the time to complete my stretches and check in with my body. Something that seems so simple often feels like a chore and I procrastinate my stretches like they are last nights dirty dishes.
