Very proud to have finally presented this piece to its new owner yesterday. I think it suits him well. This is part of his story at this present moment. My son was sad to see it go as he loves the colours so much he said. The kids would come to my studio space often while I was working on this painting. They would sit with me and tell me stories off all the things they would see. Trying a new thing this week. I typically use spray varnish on all of my acrylic paintings but because I have a number of woodworking projects on the go in my shop I don’t have a clean space to spray. So, I picked up some Golden Acrylic varnish and am trying it out on this old painting.

Tips from the Master!

Thursday night I was one of three people who did presentations on their Artistic process at Gallery 501 in Sherwoodpark during the Members show opening. Thanks to everyone who came out! It was great to connect with familiar faces and meet some new folks.

After a bit of a delay I'm finally posting my latest commission, a painting for an old friend. "Shoust - Father and Son", 30" x 40" Acrylic on canvas. This is a special story of relationship and rebirth.
