I met with Mississauga Nation to hear about their work to implement their vision of self-determination through the Nation Rebuilding Program. By coming together and working collectively to develop a common vision of what Mississauga nationhood means to them, the Mississauga Nation is creating a brighter future for their members that is rooted in their shared history, culture, language and values. I am looking forward to seeing the progress and working in true partnership together.

It was my honour to rise in the House of Commons and congratulate President Elect Joe Biden and Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris on their historic victory. The American people have spoken decisively, and we look forward to welcoming President Biden and Vice President Harris to Canada!
