Thought of the day about the west wanting to separating from Canada. I understand their frustrations with the liberal government but leaving Canada is not the w...ay. What needs to happen is the west needs a bigger say at the table. The voting system messed up we should be voting per land coverage not population I know that sounds wrong but what happens in east is different than what happens in the west same with south and north. The government needs to also stand behind our industries and stop catering to other countries. We have the materials and most of the infrastructure. We should be shipping finished product not raw materials. If we did everything here in Canada would cost less like the cost of a tv or computer or furniture and so on. Even our fuel cost would be less. What really is bumping up the costs is the shipping. So get rid of the shipping cost from outside Canada which brings shipping cost down, there would be no tariffs or import fees. Think about it I am not saying to do no business with outside Canada just saying focus on making Canada stronger not other countries. We can help other countries, but it has been proven that trying to save a person let’s say from falling doesn’t mean you will not fall to. Yes you may slow them down but in the end you both fell and nobody survived. We also need competent leaders for all political parties as in all government positions not people who are jokes, and liars or ones who self indulges in themselves or one type of demographic. Canada needs people that have a true direction for Canada that is realistic so people can stand behind them. See more

I am excited to see town making improvements for kids. I hope they put stuff in there for older kids to. Well in any case it better than more flowers.

Interesting I guess the mayor and councils promises are falling a little flat. I to would like to hear what the towns elected council is doing about these concerns.

Here an idea for the town of Englehart people would like to have sea containers for storage in town. I am not just talking for storage while they renovate their home but permanently as a garage for storage. They are strong, dry, can be painted to look decent, and handle heavy snow loads for the people who have a hard time getting to their sheds in winter. I have heard the statement well they look horrible, and they take up room. My counter to that is make it a by-law where th...e container is required to look decent, and is registered with the town as to be used towards green space, and the town can raise the taxes accordingly as it would be considered another building on the property. Town makes money, decent looking containers. And people in town have a safe, and strong place for storage. This would be a win win for the town. Share this and let’s see if the town is listening.
