A huge thank you to Dr. Herman and all the incredible staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. I needed a hip revision (taking a hip replacement out and putting a new one in). This equired some bone grafts that someone graciously donated. Please consider organ donation! It easy to sign up. You could save someone's life.... In Alberta you sign up at the Alberta Organ and Tissue Donation Registry It will be a while before I'm up and running marathons but I'm on the road to recovery.

New bowl design! My first 2 tone bowl. Thanks to suggestions from Chris at @shisonwood I been playing with ebonizing. This is an Ash bowl (wood salvage in SE Edmonton and may have a bit of splating on it). Natural colour on the outside, ebonized on the inside. This is a rabbit hole I'm gleefully going to be exploring more. There are a few technical issues I have to rectify but as the first yarn bowl test I am very pleased. ...
