I was thrilled to be able to rescue this hummingbird and release him alive after catching him inside of a Thrifty’s Food store.

This beautiful woodpecker found his way into an attic but couldn't get back out again. I was able to catch him and release him unharmed. It was a wonderful moment and a real victory.
