Our founder and CEO is a driven leader. And he drives a lot -- between our corporate office in Kitchener, various project sites in the GTA, and the two golf courses we own and operate, the Listowel Golf Club and the Stratford Golf Club. This is when he thinks. Often he will call while he is driving to bounce ideas around. Recently we talked about what else we could do to help our local communities during the global pandemic. Mike said we can’t make masks, respirators or fa...ce shields, but we do have two commercial kitchens and chefs looking for something to do. We can help feed the frontline workers and take a little care of them while they are taking care of others. Over the last two weeks, our teams have cooked, packaged, and delivered over 350 lunches to hospitals and EMS in Stratford and Kitchener out of our Stratford kitchen. At times like these, although this pandemic is unprecedented in most of our lifetimes, we need to get humble, get back to basics, and be of service where we can. We couldn’t think of a better way to spend #givingtuesday. Today we donated and decorated a beautiful tree in the Children’s Inpatient Unit for the @grhfoundation . Our hearts are full after this wonderful experience, we hope the kids enjoy it! @ Grand River Hosptial Childrens Unit
