Gateway BOP & Controls Inc is hiring... Shop Labourer Description: Perform general duties in shop and yard. Duties include operating basic hand tools, and assisting millwrights with basic tasks. Housekeeping and material handling are also components of this position.... Duties and Responsibilities: Handle materials within the shop and outdoors as required Parts and materials stocking and organization. Perform housekeeping duties Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools. i.e. Drills, Disc Grinders etc Perform work safely and follow established work procedures Hands on assistance for journeyman millwrights and perform general tasks as assigned by supervisor Requirements: Pre-Employment Drug Screening Valid Drivers license 1+ years Previous Experience Ability to lift heavy items 50+lbs Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Provide excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness. Compensation will vary depending on experience, with overtime available as needed.
