Dad. Pops. Big I. ... When news of a class action lawsuit against the CHL broke last week, I couldn’t help but think of some of the tough times I encountered as a young man away from home. ... And today, on Fathers Day I’m reminded of countless stories of my dad (and of course @valmchalepacker) being there to support me in good times and when I needed it most.... ... Like the two of us driving a tiny Saturn all the way to Seattle over 3 days ... Or him flying to Kelowna twice in about a week when shit hit the fan ... Or when he and mom were in the stands to watch me win the MJHL championship ... So thank you, Pops for your unending support and showing me what it means to sacrifice when your child needs you. ...
