I've decided it's mandatory for all travellers on the Coquihalla to stop and buy something from this lovely fellow. His business is down 60% without tour buses.... And, still, here he is for a mid-coq break. (Feel free to share) Britton Creek Rest Area ~ Update: Heartwarming to see so many people sharing! (nearing 3600 that I know of as of June 27.) Manjit is the fellow in the photo and today his nephew messaged me on his uncle's behalf. His uncle wanted us to know he is very appreciative! Also, people have been asking when the concession is open, here's what Manjit's nephew shared: 6 days a week, usually Tuesdays off. Starting July 1st, he'll be there 10 am to 7 pm.
