Rocky View County has a Regional Emergency Management Plan which includes an Evacuation Plan for Bragg Creek. Do you have an emergency plan for your household? Download a Household Emergency Plan Template and ensure everyone in your household knows what to do in an emergency.

Rocky View County has a Home Fire Protection Program where residents can apply for a FREE FireSmart assessment and corresponding grants to have recommended work done to reduce fire risk, including tree removal or pruning within 10 meters of the home.

Wadin Bay, the first FireSmart Community in Saskatchewan, was prepared for the fire and they fought hard when it came: Being a FireSmart community really highlighted for us what we had done right.
