Youth on Fire

Join us this THURSDAY for youth instead of Friday. And at some point this week, be sure you come the GBC and spend some time with Jesus working through the stations of the cross. This is an opportunity to walk alongside Jesus in the last week of his life on earth before his crucifixion. There is more information available at www.gbcochre.ca.

Join us again this Friday from 7:30-9:30. Masks required except when you are in your seat. Physical distancing in place everywhere on church property. A special guest from Providence University College will be joining us for the teaching via Zoom. If you cannot be here in person, join us on Zoom. Please register in advance if you will be attending (https://linktr.ee/gbcyouthonfire) and sign up for your free t-shirt while you are at it. Keep in mind that next we will be meeting on Thursday due to conflicts with Good Friday.

We are meeting in person again this Friday from 7:30-9:30 pm. Masks are required unless seated and physically distanced. All church and day camp rules are in place. Please pre-register at https://linktr.ee/gbcyouthonfire. Guys enter through the south door and go downstairs. Girls enter through the main east doors and stay upstairs.

1) We will be meeting at Grace Baptist Church on Friday March 12 from 7:30-9:30 pm. We will be following both church and day camp regulations as is required by the current regulations. What exactly does this mean? - You are asked to pre-register (link below) - If needed, there will be separate cohorts of up to 25 students with one upstairs and one downstairs. Depending on the amount who register, the breakdown will be girls upstairs (entering through the east doors) and guys ...downstairs (entering through the south door). This will allow us to break into our small groups. - Use hand sanitizer when entering. - Masks will be required for the duration of your time inside. - There will be physically distanced seating. - Bring your own water bottles, if needed. - Bring your own Bible/have one available on your phone. - We will still connect via Zoom for anyone who wants to join in for the teaching and small group time. Contact us if you would like to connect via Zoom. 2) As we can meet in groups of up to 10 outside, I invite you join us for a physically distanced hike in small groups at Northgate trails south of Dauphin from 1:30-2:30 pm on Saturday. - You are asked to pre-register (link below). - Have a mask with you. - Groups will depart at or shortly after 1:30, so ensure you aren't late. - Do your best to maintain physical distance while walking. 3) At some point in the future, we will be using some retreat material provided by Steinbach Bible College and they are giving away free retreat t-shirts to anyone who wants one. Register for your t-shirt at the link below. For "What Church Do You Attend?" please use "Grace Baptist Church Ochre River" even if you attend a different church. Christmas party on Friday starting at 7:30. Zoom link is the same as the past, but message if you need it. A Christmas party needs snacks, so come prepared. There will be a gift exchange among other things. You don't need to bring a gift. You won't want to miss out.
