When the time for a high school reunion rolls around, people tend to pull out all the stops in order to make themselves look younger, thinner and beautiful. Unfortunately, this usually means crash diets and other unhealthy choices are in the mix. Look good and feel great for your high school reunion through healthy choices. The most important thing to remember is your self-confidence. You are a strong person who has done well for yourself; therefore there is no reason to doub...t your looks. No one is going to look exactly the same as they did in high school and if they do, then they have a great plastic surgeon! (Not a plug for Dr. Brent Howley, Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon) The best way to spruce yourself up for the big day involves only two steps: Water- Increasing your water intake can help shed a few pounds, freshen up your skin and gently improve your overall health. Water is such an important part of our daily requirements and it’s the one thing we tend to neglect the most. Walking- The simplest form of exercise is the easiest way to go. Carve fifteen minutes out of your day and take a walk. This not only helps promote better physical health, but also gives your mind time to recharge as well. Give yourself a thirty day trial of increasing your water intake and taking a daily walk. At the end of the thirty days, take note of your overall health. Do you have more energy? Have you lost a couple of pounds without really thinking about it? We all have self-image insecurities when it comes to reunions. The fun part is looking around and realizing you look younger and healthier than your old classmates. The key to looking good and feeling great really does come down to accepting who you are and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Enjoy your Sunday!!
