What is a safe volume to listen to music etc. when using headphones? A good rule of thumb is 60% volume for no more than 60 minutes per day.
In accordance with a directive issued by the College of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists of Ontario, the clinic is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are a new patient requiring a consultation, please call 705-571-0137 and leave your contact information so we can call you once we reopen. Current patients may also call if they require telephone support. We appreciate your understanding.

Time for hearing aids? WHO will be directly responsible for your care in Huntsville Ontario? Will it be an Audiologist or an unregulated individual? Audiologists are the only non-physician health professional that can legally prescribe hearing aids in Ontario. Unlike unregulated hearing health care workers, they must have graduate-level University education, are accountable to the public and must adhere to a code of ethics, just like your family doctor. Is it more expensive to purchase hearing aids from an Audiologist? Not if you are my patient. For an appointment, please send a message above or call 705-571-0137.
Hearing loss is painfully obvious this time of year. If your friends or family are struggling to hear this holiday season, please encourage them to get help. It all starts with a simple test.
I know it is summer in Muskoka, but...
