Hi ya'all, so just a little shout out to my people on Facebook. We have a ginormious tent set up on the patio, it looks and feels great and I'm not even done. Think Moraccan, Bedouin desert dwellers, it's gonna be a hot winter!!

Someone asked me if we had shut down, yes for 4 MTHS during the mandatory quarantine, but we opened again when it was safe to do so. We are social distancing here, every other table and our patio is up and running. Hopefully I'm getting a tent for the outside so maybe our patio season may last a little longer this year. We are doing what we can, staying responsible with our safety measures. The Gem is still rocking, the music is just a little lower!

Good day all you Gemsters, today being the 24th of August, the Gem will be closed till tomorrow, decided that since it is a special day, we should do something special! So the staff and I decided that today would be a great day to go fishing!, First time in the Gem's history we will close the restaurant to do something fun for ourselves, so enjoy yourselves today, It being a special day, go fishing too, forget about all the insanity in this life these days, do something fu...n too. So I know I said I wouldn't change the hrs again, I lied! New hrs starting today, August 10, Sun-Wed 4pm-12am, Thu-Sat 4pm-2am!! Hopefully this will be the last change at least till the end of the summer, a reminder that our patio is up and it's beautiful, lastly a reminder that we're serving brunch on Sunday too. Hey there, I think this will be the last post on HR changes, decided that the hrs will remain with the exception of Saturdays. We will open at 4 pm on Saturday from here on in, will keep you posted!! Enjoy your weekend
