Happy St Patrick's Day!! Although this Moldavite wasn't found in Ireland, I wanted to share this rich green tektite and it's story with you. Fifteen million years ago earth was hit by an asteroid and when landed, it exploded sending debris across parts of Europe, specifically the Czech Republic. What was left was this beautiful glass that was formed from the heat. Most Moldavite has already been mined making it quite a rare find. I believe there is only one mining site l...eft and it has been nearly depleted. It is said to be a very high vibration crystal that can assist in shedding emotional issues from your past. Meditating with Moldavite can also heighten psychic abilities/gifts. This pretty little slice of space history came to me by way of my auntie. A very spiritual being, she was a reverend, psychic reader, natural Reiki healer and she studied different religions around the world. My auntie was a scholar who taught herself Hebrew & Arabic so she could read the Quran and the Torah. When she spoke, I listened. She was key in me becoming the spiritual person I am today. The last time I visited her she assisted me in shedding emotional baggage I was holding onto since childhood. A turning point in my life and I haven't been the same since. What I loved most about her was that even in her 70's she wasn't afraid what people thought of her or her gifts and was quite vocal about God and how he spoke directly to her. Although I don't believe in God the way she did, she accepted me for who and what I am and we agreed that her God and my Universe are in fact the same thing. I have many crystals and this Moldavite is by far my fav and will be cherished by me for the rest of my life. The moment I picked it up I felt the energy within.
