On Monday I was in a car accident. Nothing major and everyone is OK. It was the other guys fault, but my car needs repairs (couldn't open the drivers side door). After filing my claim with MPI, I head to the dealership for the repairs and to pick up my rental car which is being paid for thanks to my 'Loss Of Use' coverage. I got my rental and took out an RCI Policy (Rental Car Insurance) to cover it. Here's why I took the policy:... -It's cheap. $15 Admin Fee and $2 per day. -The deductible is $100. -I have up to $5,000,000 in coverage. There are other reasons, but those are the highlights. Nobody plans on being in an accident, but it happens. It could happen again this week while I'm driving my rental. Why risk it? You don't have insurance because you PLAN on being in an accident. You have it to protect you when an accident happens! -Ryan-
