Not everyone likes getting up this early but this is our favourite time of the day.
This news story is from the states but you may have noticed these little brown caterpillars crawling all over and eating your leaves too. Gypsy moth is in our back yard and if not kept in check by Mother Nature will defoliant and kill your trees. Give us a call if you are concerned about your property and trees! **the product we use is a certified organic insecticides that only kills the caterpillar when eaten off a leaf, this will then not harm any bird or animal if they where to eat the caterpillar and with sunlight and rainfall will degrade back into the environment** Give us a call to protect your trees! A great article on aerial vs ground done right here at the ridgetown college. Tests where done by ground rig, helicopter and airplane with the agronomist stating that aerial application dose a better job with coverage. With wheat heading out it is a great time to protect your investment with aerial application with out running over any crop! Give us a call today to book your wheat or pre book for corn to ensure you are on the top of the list! 519-227-4091
Last year we had the pleasure of working with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority on a cover crop project. We are able to apply cover crops to help reduce nitrogen and phosphorus loss due to runoff or heavy rainfalls and also apply fertilizer at different growth stages with no crop damage. Give us a call for any questions or pre booking 519-227-4091
Engine hanging day!
General Airspray is a 3rd generation aerial application company. We work in forestry and agricultural application all across Ontario, and maintain several private and commercial small aircrafts. We were established in 1962 by Roscoe Hodgins and Doug Worgan with a Stearmans that was purchased from the Leavens Brother’s. Today, we are located in Lucan, Ontario, and continue to provide forestry applications, planting, and spraying the fields in Southwestern Ontario.
