My son and I had the pleasure of literally bumping into Mr. Howe. We were on a vacation at Disney World, at our hotel there was a tire tube type flowing river/pool thing and my son was riding on my lap on the tube as we kept bouncing against this older fellow with his back to us. When his tube spun around guess who,,, Mr Hockey! Can you believe all that could come out of my mouth was "Gordie Howe, what are you doing here?" Almost like he couldn't be anywhere else but on the rink. He was very nice, had a Grand kid on his lap and said something like I'm on a family vacation with our kids and grand kids. This was I think about 20 years ago and he was still cut of granite and looked in game shape!! Thanks for the memories and adding legend to the #9. RIP Mr Hockey

Oooops, forgot to tell everybody,,, In July we purchased a 1972 Camaro RS split bumper car. Right now it's with the good folks at A&B autobody next door to us going through the restoration on the body. When we bought it, it was black with white rally stripes. They never painted black on Camaros' in 1972 so it is slated to go back to the factory "Flame Orange" with white rally stripes with new chrome, emblems and everything else that goes along with that. Can't wait to share pics when it's done!! Stay posted!
