On march 16 at 8:30am, the Government of Ontario announced that it is declaring an emergency under s 7.0.1 (1) the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. As a result of this declaration and its associated orders, all facilities providing indoor recreational programs are legally required to close immediately. These orders were approved by the Lieutenant Governor in Council and will remain in place until March 31, 2020, at which point they will be reassessed and considered for extension, unless this order is terminated earlier. At this time, Genesis Equine will be closed to the public until the state of emergency is lifted. There will be no lessons at this time. We will revisit this on March 31, 2020 with hopes that the spread is under control. We sincerely appreciate your understanding during this very difficult time.
