You were my best friend and it’s not fair that your gone. . I miss you so much... . I miss your sassy attitude and at times overly judgmental looks I miss coming home and you would be at the top of the stairs wagging your tail and letting out little growls How you would come and bite my toes when you wanted attention or run into my office barking and jumping I miss turing around in my office chair and you would be sleeping in the doorway - I still turn around out of habit and my heart sinks overtime I just see the empty hallway I miss our walks; you would always be patient and let me be a crazy dog mom and take excessive photos of you And it makes me laugh when I think back to the hot days when we would walk and you would get tired and Jon or I would have to carry you home. Or when it was time to go home and you didn’t want to leave the park and refused to walk, and so we again would have to carry you home . I miss you waking us up too early in the mornings, tugging at our bedsheets, playfully growling and staring us down until we finally got up I miss buying you toys and making an extra egg for you in the mornings I miss chasing you around the house And I miss your dinosaur noises and hearing your paws when you’d walk - the house is so quiet now . I miss your cuddles, how you were always there when I had a shitty day or felt low And it sucks that I need you now more than ever and your not here to comfort me . This house feels so empty without all your beds and toys scattered everywhere. It’s eerily silent without your playful noises and the patter of you walking And it doesn’t feel like a home without you. I just want to wish you back and I can’t 5 years was not enough and I feel cheated and I’m mad because it’s not fair and the grief is crippling . You were the best thing to have ever come into Jon and I’s life You brought us so much happiness and all of our best memories have you in it I miss you Eevee and I’m sorry

New hair who dis? . I always loved getting my hair cut. Even if it isn’t a crazy change or really a new hair cut - more so just a freshen up It always makes me feel so good ... . I don’t get my nails done, or have lash extensions and I’ve never gone for a spray tan (or tan bed) so haircuts were always my form of pampering. . Fun fact: I used to always dye my hair different colors (Plum and blonde, fire truck red, even blue once) Buuuuuut now I’m too lazy for the up keep And solid black just feels like ‘me’ now. . What comes to mind when you think about Fall/Autumn? . I think about forests painted with colors of reds and golds. ... Oh Monday - why are you the way you are? Does anyone else have strong feelings about Monday’s? . For me, I feel 2 ways towards Monday’s ...... On one side, I look at Monday’s as a mini re-start. A new week and along with that the feeling of possibility. . Usually when Monday’s come around I get an immediate jolt of motivation - ‘This week I’m going to get X, Y & Z all done’. I’m going to omega productive; work on projects, create new habits and overall just focus. . Buuuuuuut at the same time.... there are Monday’s where I also wish it was still the weekend and that I could stay I’m my pj’s just abit longer and watch just one more episode on Netflix . I hadn’t photographed Alicia and Kevin since two years ago - but it was like nothing changed . I first met Alicia and Kevin when I was re-vamping my website and in the midst of completely changing my style. They took a chance on me and booked a couples session.... . It was SO fun, and they brought their two little pups Pipper and Libby - Pipper was so crazy, constantly zooming around us in the feild . After that, we always stayed somewhat in contact (commenting on each others insta stories/pics) but hadn’t shot together since. . UNTIL NOW!! Alicia reached out to book a maternity session and I obviously was so pumped and said YES! . Let me tell you guys, it was so trippy because it felt like no time had past. The session was so easy and laid back AND even Libby and Pipper made an appearance (Pipper still so feisty hahah) . I loved capturing these images and the session was simply amazing. . This is why I love lifestyle photography and what’s so special about it. You get the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and if your lucky, you get to photograph them throughout the different stages of their lives. .
