Covid update..Well folks looks like we are into another lock down. The GOOD NEWS is groomers are permitted to remain open. As per usual for Gentle Paws we will continue to do curbside drop off and pick up, by appointment only and etransfer preferred but exact cash ok. If anything changes we will let you, our OUTSTANDING customers, know ASAP. Thanks all for your continued support and flexibility during these very trying times. Stay safe all. Stay "pawsitive".

Hello everyone. It is SUCH a relief to be grooming your fur kids again. Kudos to you for doing your best to keep up with their grooming care. We are almost back to normal although we will continue with curbside drop off and pick up. Watch for our notice of MARCH MADNESS NAIL BLITZ! Date to be announced shortly. We are quite busy, as I'm sure you can well imagine, so please be patient with us especially for answering the phone while we are actively grooming. We will return messages in as timely matter as possible. If you leave a message please include your first name, your pet's name and breed , your number and a day(s) and time(s) you are available. Thx!

Covid 19 update . Hello Gentle Paws family. Christmas has passed and New Years is quickly approaching. I hope everyone has had a happy and safe holiday season this far. And wishes to you all for a great New Year and a return to normal. As most of you are aware ,I STRONGLY disagree with our government regarding essential service not applying to pet grooming. Over all I believe our government has done a phenomenal job of keeping us safe. I do think that the government has over...looked the REAL health importance of regular grooming for our pets. On one hand the government states that, "Veterinary services (urgent care only) and other businesses that provide for the health and welfare of animals, including farms, boarding kennels, stables, animal shelters, zoos, aquariums and research facilities" are allowed to operate. Are we pet groomers not providing for the health and overall welfare of animals? Yes we are. Often we provide services that veterinarians refer to us. It has been brought to my attention that a fellow local groomer is suggesting that to stand up for the health and welfare of my clients, my beliefs, is to discredit my integrity. My motives. I don't believe the government, in its haste, got this law right. Therefore I will stand up for my clients' rights to a comfortable pain free life. To suggest that I am not insured to perform my duties is ludicrous. For that matter ,there is no "special" groomers insurance. I paid my insurance the whole time of our last shut down just as I still do and will continue to do. I don't criticize others for their beliefs or their stand on the necessity of grooming or what I interpret as their lack of commitment to their clients. To each their own. I Fight for what I believe in. I will challenge this law. It's well intended but misguided. See more
