(Farmer’s Almanac indicates starting tomatoes indoors by April 1) Beefsteak, Mortgage Lifter, Large Cherry (can start late April), Large Rainbow, Amber, yellow normal shape medium to large sized (specific variety unknown), Federle, Big Beef or Brandywine, Banana Legs (can start in late April). These have been tested for germination. Opportunity to purchase bulk dry foods for wholesale cost. I hope and pray you are managing OK during this crisis. Although the news can be overwhelming, God is still in control. That gives me peace. Supply chains across the globe have been impacted by this COVID 19 crisis. Some are OK, others have been interrupted for who knows how long, and still others are collapsing. Canada has been doing quite well, but many of our supplies come from other places that are not doing as w...ell. I don’t know how long this uncertainty will last. We are going to place an order from a wholesale company in Toronto that we have purchased a lot of our business supplies from. They sell grains such as rice and oats, dried beans, seeds, nuts, dried fruit, pasta, flours of all kinds, processed cereals such as corn flakes, hot cereals, granola, baking supplies, cooking oils, peanut butter , even snack foods. They also have canned goods like tomatoes. It is a bulk supplier so these things are in large quantities. Some of the things like peanut butter can be had in smaller sizes, but require purchase by the case. If you are interested in anything along those lines, let me know the approximate quantity you would be interested in, and if it doesn’t meet the minimum, hopefully, someone else also wants some and it will be enough to split between the interested parties. I will just charge you what we are being charged, which in most cases is less (even a lot less) than retail prices. This isn’t about us making money, but giving you an opportunity to have supplies on hand. However, the business does have overhead expenses and due to my concussion, we have not been making any money lately. If you are willing and able to pay a bit more than the cost, which will be less than regular retail prices, we would be grateful. If you have been directly impacted financially by this crisis and need food but don't know how you will pay for it, please contact me and we will see what we can do. Many friends are struggling with sore throats and coughs. I find this cough syrup to be very helpful, tasty, and non-toxic. you can take as much as you want/need. Feel better everyone :)

We had our best Christmas market ever, and Caleb sold a few more books as well. He is slowly developing answers to questions like "What is your book about?". He couldn't finish high school because of severe autism, so it is awesome to see him publishing a book and then getting out in public to promote it. We introduced a line of low glycemic jams Cindy made with our home made pectin from our early season green apples, and containing mostly fruit from our property. They came out spectacular and they were a huge hit. :)

The name Genuine Girard goes back to the days when I (Mark) lived in Colorado and selling tie-dyes was a big part of my life. Well, we made tie-dyes last week for the first time since before I figured out I got floxed. The umpteen year old dye still works just fine and apparently I still have some skills. We hope to get a bunch more made this week, and if things come together, we will pick up a tote or two of them next spring that have been stashed at our sister's house in Colorado for far too long. I'll share more pics of what we come up with in another post, and someday we will probly figure out how to sell them on the internets as well. I am also going to make some custom FQ antibiotic related tie dyes that we will sell to the top bidder to raise funds for FQ awareness.
