A Haida Bear! These bears are super cool! This one walked in front of our camp while I was guiding this past summer. This bear was flipping boulders over like... they were paper-machete while looking for crabs and other bits of intertidal life for a snack! These black bears found in Haida Gwaii are genetically distinct from black bears found anywhere else.
