Welcome Back!! We've Missed You! We are happy to announce that we are gradually welcoming patients back on Monday July 6th! We appreciate your understanding and patience while we kept closed to help control the spread of COVID-19. There will be some changes that have taken place when you enter back into our office as your health and safety is our number one priority.... -We are following the guidelines of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the College of Dental Hygiene. -We are practicing social distancing wherever possible at the office and all staff are wearing masks when we cannot. -We are limiting the number of patients allowed into the office at all times. This could mean that if you already had an appointment, we may need to alter the schedule to meet the new requirements. We will be contacting all patients. -Only patients and essential caregivers are permitted inside. -All staff is screened daily for Covid-19 symptoms. This includes a temperature check of all staff two times a day. -We pre screen all patients for Covid-19 prior to their arrival to their appointments. This includes symptoms of fever/cough. We are also asking about recent travel. Anyone who screens positive is asked to stay home and referred to their medical provider. -NEW ENTRY PROCEDURE in place. We have closed our waiting room. We ask all patients to call the office upon their arrival from their car so that we can meet you at the front entrance of 8 George St N. Please look for the white X’s on the pavement to show you where we will greet you. All patients are required to wear a face covering or mask to enter the building. This allows us to limit the chance of patients crossing paths because we have a one way direction for entering and exiting. -All patients are screened again. This includes a temperature check and a chance for all patients to use a hand sanitizer. -We have enclosed all four operatories. -We limit the need for patients to touch any doors. . - Additional medical grade HEPA air purification units have been added to each room. An HVAC assessment was done to ensure all was up to date. -All high touch surfaces such as door knobs/handles/debit machine are disinfected several times a day. -Additional PPE used according to the service provided. -We ask that you arrive with your teeth brushed and floss to your appointment to limit the use of the washroom. In the event you need to use our washroom, they will be sanitized after each use. Can't wait to see you all!
