Dear Friends, wishing you and your families a very Happy Holidays in advance! So, two things: First, during this special season, I'm so very grateful to revisit old friendships with folks I haven't seen all year... whether we just haven't crossed paths, or whether they've just come home for the celebration season to raise a cup of cheer/beer with old friends and family; Two, I've just modified the website so that there is now a Free local pick up and delivery option for all printed photos and Blank occasion and Christmas cards. Again, wishing everyone a relaxing Holiday season....... Here's looking at you!

Hello folks, I thought I'd share these images and the story behind them with you... this is Lucy and her 3 week old brood. Taken in Natuashish, 2014, during a work-related visit. Natuashish had a chronic problem with unneutered huskies/husky crosses running wild through the community. The Chinook Project was invited to the community in 2010 and again in 2015, in order to set up a clinic to provide free spaying/ castration, parasite control, vaccinations, and education to the ...local population. Lucy was the one wily lady too smart to be caught. However, I was slowly able to win her trust via lots of edibles and gentle coaxing, and to get close enough to handle her little ones. I took these photos at the time; it was -45oC that day with wind chill. Lucy was subsequently finally gently corralled and later spayed, adopted into a loving home, and her Motherly duties are now over. In the last photo, the fourth pup, a runt, is straggling out of the snow den for a little Motherly love. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them. See more

Early morning August moon, setting over South Side Hills; very unusual spellbinding atmospheric conditions, due to smoke in upper atmosphere having made it's way here all the way from the catastrophic B.C. and California wildfires.
