Gillian and I took a fun road trip. Her stressed out morning coffee grabbing antics were a perfect fit for the cover of STRESS!!! You've Got To Be Kidding!
This is the acrylic I painted for The Trouble With Harry. The dog turned out differently than the picture I had in my mind but when it was finished I realized that Buddy resembles the original Buddy who was my first pet.
This is the acrylic I painted for From Supervening to Superbeing. Then I took close up photos of the figure. Eventually the cover creator on Amazon helped me to make it even more dynamic by using a wrap around head shot.
This watercolour painting is original design for The Cat, the Belly Dancer & the Cello. I asked the publisher to place it on an antique map of Turkey and chose the blue colour to offset the white cat.
Muneca aka Bastet, aka Babette is the featured cat in my fictional novels. She was a street cat who adopted me in Turkey then followed me to Spain, Brazil and the USA before we settled back in London, Canada. Her intelligence and psychic abilities were astounding. Muneca was my companion for seventeen years on earth and now as she is a spirit cat in my home. Other people see and sense her when they visit. This inspirational being continues to live on between the pages of my books.
