Georgian Sound Big Band

Presentation of our Annual Music Scholarship for 2018 to Decklan Funston. Decklan will be attending Humber College this Fall. We will miss his amazing tenor sax solos. Hopefully he can sit in with us again some time in the future. The presentation was made on July 8th in Owen Sound. We had an amazing audience of about 350 people.

Georgian Sound Big Band will be performing July 24th from 7-9 pm at the Wasaga Beach Rec-Plex gazebo. Rain location is inside the Rec-Plex. This is our last performance for this summer. We will be presenting our music scholarship award to one of the students who play with us, Decklan Funston.

Great day Sunday June 10, 2018 performing at the Collingwood Rotary fund raising event, Taste of Collingwood.

The band will be playing a fund raising event again this year to support youth music programs in the Markdale/Flesherton area. Hope to see you there.
