Our Conservation Chair Craig Lalonde had a golden opportunity to meet up with two of our members Yana and Jamie. They wished to help him out with the Duck Nesting Boxes. When Craig met up with them he was pleasantly surprised to be presented with three nesting boxes donated to our club for the nesting box project. Craig is hoping to have the boxes completed so they can be installed on a property in February pending weather and pandemic restrictions. Pictures of the assembly have been attached to show the work involved in the assembly of these boxes. Having members stepping up to donate such items to the club not only cuts the costs but helps to make this project become complete. Thank you Yana and Jamie again for your greatly appreciated donation, and thank you Craig for chairing this project.
We are now in the Orange (RESTRICT) level as outlined in the province’s COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open. Find out what this means. http://ow.ly/cNXA50Cs6LO
Bet you he needs a new pair of underwear....
Thanks Sterley Stubbings for sharing a couple photos of historical sites on our property.
Well today was our first opportunity to offer members to come out in person to renew your membership or submit a membership application. We feel we had a pretty good turn out for our first time doing memberships this way. This new way was d/t the pandemic but also proved to be more streamline and less confusing doing it at a regular dinner meeting. Just another way our executive is trying to cope with the pandemic and make our way through it, while following the social distan...cing protocols. FYI, your membership cards will be mailed out to you once we get the OFAH renewal cards. As for the membership yearly buttons they will be available at our next December 05 2020 membership session. GBHA would like to thank the members who came out and renewed in person, thank the new members who came out and submitted their applications, as well got a personal tour of the facility. A special thanks to our Membership Chairperson Elyse Birnie for being so well organized and prepared to make sure everything went well. We would also like to thank Dan Gardner, Bruce Dunn, Reid Belfry and Joe Belcourt for their volunteering. Don't forget we are offering our second membership session on Saturday December 05 2020 at 10:00 am till 12:00 pm. As well we will be having a Turkey Shoot immediately after, all pending pandemic restrictions! See more
We took a walk through the property yesterday to check out any wind damage and the beautiful scenery! Nothing beats a walk in the bush after a fresh snow fall. There are a couple trees down on the trails but the are also a lot of branches that are covered by the snow so use caution when hiking through the trails. Get out and enjoy.
Hey folks today is a chance to renew your 2021 GBHA Membership or to drop off membership applications. Doors open at ten till 12:00! We will be offering a second opportunity to put in renewals and applications December 05 2020. Social distancing will be followed snd masks are mandatory. Stay safe, stay well!
If anyone recognizes this tree stand on the club property please notify us immediately. Thank you.

Happy Birthday to our 2nd Vice President Joe Belcourt! Cheers!
Congratulations to Michael Weimer and his crew on their harvest on a young bull. After Mike completed his harvest they took some time to do some fishing prior to flying out! Looks like a few good stories from that trip!
Ken Edwardken Langley wanted to congratulate his crew on the harvest of a cow. Congrats goes out to John Banks who was not only lucky enough to make the kill shot but had the experience of having his father Jeff Banks at his side during this experience! Congratulations guys!
Combat ultime.

Gotta love those cold Opening mornings!
In order to leave 2020 you must run through this blindfolded after doing the dizzy bat thing.
